Втори, както и в първата сесия, остана двукратният световен шампион Себастиан Фетел (Германия) в Ред Бул с 1:25.794 минути. Трети се класира Фернандо Алонсо (Испания) с Ферари с 1:25.930 минути.Пилотът на МакЛарън Люис Хамилтън (Великобритания), който даде най-добро време в първата свободна тренировка, се
нареди четвърти с 1:26.454 минути.Хамилтън бе наказан с три места назад в стартовата решетка, след като пренебрегна жълти флагове в първата сесия. Марк Уебър (Австралия) с Ред Бул и Дженсън Бътън (Англия) с МакЛарън се наредиха съответно пети и шести във втората тренировка. В събота е квалификацията за място за Гран При на Индия.
