France coach Raymond Domenech blamed the media for the fiasco of the World Cup in 2010, reports French newspaper Parisien.
It happened during a closed hearing of the French Parliament, which gave explanations Domenech and former president of the French Football Federation Jean-Pierre Eskale.
"All wines Domenech threw on French media negativism which he said was at the heart of contention in the team, which in turn led to poor results, inform MP Eric Syoti.
Hearing is a precedent and could lead to the withdrawal of France from international competitions since FIFA strictly follow the governments of non-interference in the affairs of football associations.
In France, South Africa ended 0:0 with Uruguay and lost 0:2 from Mexico and South Africa with 1:2. Thus, by winning a single point, the world champion of 1998 dropped miserably in the struggle for the World Cup.
